My Role

Sally Beauty needed engaging social media content to increase audience engagement, drive traffic, and promote their Christmas holiday campaign.

 

My goal was to create posts and ads that captured attention, aligned with platform trends, and delivered measurable results.

 

I was responsible for crafting compelling captions, ad headlines, and post copy while collaborating with graphic designers and marketing strategists to align visuals and messaging.

Audience and Platform Research

I analyzed audience insights and platform-specific trends to tailor content for maximum engagement and took note of past campaigns to identify successful strategies and areas for improvement.

Content Ideation

 I developed creative concepts that aligned with the brand voice and campaign goals while tailoring copy for each platform with consideration to character limits, tone, and preferred content formats.

Collaborative Feedback and Refinement

After presenting initial concepts to stakeholders for feedback, I adjusted copy based on input, ensuring the final selection resonated with both the audience and brand.

Additonal Collaboration and Delivery

I then worked closely with graphic designers to ensure new copy complemented holiday visuals for a cohesive message.​

Results:

  • Increased social media engagement rates (likes and comments) by 14%.

  • Boosted click-through rates on ad campaigns by 11%.
